How to Borrow and Return a Wi-Fi Hotspot

Simply ask to borrow a Wi-Fi Hotspot at the Main Level Desk or place one on hold. Remember, you can only borrow one at a time!

You get to keep a Wi-Fi Hotspot for three weeks.

Wi-Fi Hotspots must be returned to a staff member at the Main Level Desk – we ask that you do not leave them in the outdoor drop box, please!

Late Return, Damaged, or Lost Wi-Fi Hotspots

Hotspots that are not returned by the due date are assumed lost and will result in a replacement charge of $230, so be sure to return them on time!

In case of a lost or damaged cable, it’s a $20 charge. And for a lost or damaged device, it’s a $210 charge.

How Do I Use a Wi-Fi Hotspot?

Get connected to the Internet in a few simple steps:

  1. Turn on the device by holding the power button.
  2. On your phone, tablet, laptop, or other device, go to the settings for Network or Internet.
  3. In available Networks, look for one named STPL-WiFi, followed by a number, and select that network.
  4. Enter the network password – this is located on the underside of the lid of the Wi-Fi Hotspot’s container.
