STPL Monthly Book Club

All are welcome to attend the St. Thomas Public Library Book Club

We are a friendly group of people with an interest in reading and discussing good books and we’d like you to join us! We acquire additional copies of Book Club books. Please ask at the Information Desk; if copies aren’t on hand, you can place a hold to be notified when they become available.

We typically meet at 10:00 a.m. on the first Tuesday of the month, in the Carnegie Room. All members read the selected title each month, then discuss the book. The host for that day gives a summary of the author’s life and/or career to begin the discussion.

No need to sign up – just show up! All are welcome.

Copies of the novels are often available on the STPL Book Club section of the Holds shelf in the month before the discussion. If books are not available, you may place a hold on the item and you will be notified when it becomes available.
