Suiting Up for Grade 9 Math

13 – 15 years old

Tech Requirements:
Program hosted on Zoom. Must have access to Zoom through a tablet or computer.

About the program:
Get a jump start to high school math this summer by attending a fun six-week online tutoring program for students going into grades 8 or 9! Students will recieve online help from trained volunteer math tutors. This program will prepare students for the new Grade 9 math curriculum. These sessions are designed to help students improve their mental math, fractions, algebra, and other math skills.

Summer Coding Program for Kids

8 – 11 years old

About the program:
Get a jump start to coding this summer by attending this five-week online tutoring program! Students will recieve online help from trained volunteer tutors. The program will introduce learnings to the basics of coding, tailored to their age group. Sessions are designed to help students improve their basics of coding and prepare them for more advanced programs in the future!

Virtual Homework Help

We’re so happy to share a partnership with Frontier College to provide FREE virtual homework help for children and youth to our community!

Access free virtual homework help for school-aged children and youth (K – 12) with Frontier College and St. Thomas Public Library!

Sessions start Monday, February 7!

Sessions are:

  • My Math Program (K – 8): Mondays | 4 – 5 p.m. and 5 – 6 p.m.
  • My Math Program (K – 8): Thursdays | 4 – 5 p.m. and 5 – 6 p.m.
  • Youth Homework Club (Grades 9 – 12): Wednesdays | 4 – 6 p.m.
