What is Virtual Homework Help?

Virtual Homework Help is provided through a partnership with United for Literacy. This service provides FREE virtual homework help for children and youth in our community.

Access free virtual homework help for school-aged children and youth with United for Literacy and St. Thomas Public Library!

Sessions are:

  • Coding for Kids (Ages 8 – 11) – Mondays | 4 – 6 p.m. This program will introduce learners to the basics of coding using Scratch as an educational tool.
  • Homework Club (Ages 8 – 12) – Thursdays | 4 – 6 p.m. Volunteer tutors will help children with homework and guide them through fun and interactive games and activities. Each session is tailored to the student’s needs and their homework.
  • My Math Program (Ages 8 – 12) – Wednesdays | 4 – 6 p.m. & Thursdays | 4 – 6 p.m. This online program encourages children to have fun with math. Using interactive digital platforms, children will have the opportunity to explore mathematical concepts by participating in a series of fun activities and challenges.
  • Youth Homework Club (Ages 13 – 18) – Wednesdays | 4 – 6 p.m. Volunteer tutors will help youth with homework and provide mentorship. Each session is tailored to the student’s needs and their homework.
