St. Thomas Public Library provides access to tens of thousands of free eBooks and eAudiobooks from cloudLibrary.
Instructions for using the App:
Download the cloudLibrary app.
Open the cloudLibrary app. You will first get a welcome screen. Tap anywhere to continue. Next, it will ask you to select a Country. Make sure that Canada(CA) is selected. Tap on Ontario and then tap on St. Thomas Public Library from the list of libraries.
Check out the featured tiles, browse our collection by genre, or do a search for a specific author or title. Use the filters to see only those titles available now, or make recommendations for purchase!
Instructions for transferring items to a Kobo
Download the Windows cloudLibrary software from cloudLibrary website
Once installed, cloudLibrary will prompt you for your location as well as your Library Card number. You must agree to their legal terms before continuing. If you wish to use both cloudLibrary and Overdrive, you have to make sure to be using the same Adobe ID. We recommend that you do not use the “Automatically generate ID for cloudLibrary” option.
Go to My Books to see checked out eBooks. If your Kobo is connected to your computer, the Transfer to Device button should appear. Click on this button.

FLIPSTER: Online Magazines
Use the free Flipster App to download magazines for offline reading. Simply browse and view magazines through the Flipster link on the library’s website, and select the “Open in App” option to download magazines to the app, where they can be read and managed offline.
TumbleBookCloud is an online collection of read-along titles for elementary, middle school, and high school students which features adjustable online text and complete audio narration. Sentences are highlighted as they are being read and the pages turn automatically.The collection features chapter books, early readers, YA/Teen novels, high interest/low level books for both middle school and high school students, plus classics in American and English literature.
